The grey-scale image (left top image) is a 2D representation of the time evolution. In the right graph, the starting (S) and final (E) spectra are plotted and the applied fits considering Mo6+, Mo5+, and Mo4+ 5d 5/2 and 3/2 states are given in the bottom left image. Their intensities are taken as measure for the molar fraction of the respective phases shown with the grey-scale plot.
