(C,D) Other identified factors from the CM potentially involved in the muscle-macrophage cross-talk were validated by RT-PCR. mRNA expression levels of LCN2, Pcolce and BNP were determined in C2C12 myotubes adenovirally overexpressing PGC-1α or GFP (C) and in WT and MCKα mice (D).
