All hASC were transduced with an Adenovirus for LacZ (AdLacZ) or HO-1 (AdHO-1) and experiments started 48 hrs later. (A) Western blot analysis of HO-1 protein expression in human ASC. β-actin demonstrates equal protein loading. (B) Cell proliferation analysis in human ASC. (C) Human ASC transduced with an Adenovirus for LacZ (AdLacZ) or HO-1 (AdHO-1) were induced to differentiate into mature adipocytes. Oil-red O staining was performed on day 10 after induction of adipocyte differentiation. (D) Q-PCR analysis of mature adipocyte genes LPL and RBP4 analyzed with Q-PCR 10 days after induction of adipocyte differentiation. Results are mean ± SEM. *p < 0.05, **p < 0.01, ***p < 0.001.
