(A) Mouse fibroblasts (NIH/3T3 cells) were transfected with either 5 × 107 TU/ml of negative control (LV-NC) or LV-miR-497-5p. At day 7 after transfection, the levels of Vim, Reck and Acta2 were measured. (B) Fibroblast migration was measured after transfection. (C) NIH/3T3 cells were transfected with either 5 × 107 TU/ml of LV-NC or LV-miR-497-5p. Some of the cells were co-transfected the pGCL mutant Reck (LV-Reck). The levels of Acta2, Col1a1, Reck, Mmp2, Mmp9 and Tgfb1 were measured by Western blot. (D) Lung resident mesenchymal stem cells were treated as in (C). The levels of Acta2, Col1a1, Reck, Mmp2, Mmp9 and Tgfb1 were measured by Western blot. Data represented three independent experiments.
