Brain homogenate (10 μg) or MACS purified mitochondrial lysate (10 μg) was loaded into each lane. The rabbit monoclonal antibody EP1802Y, which recognizes a C-terminal epitope of PrPC, was used for detection. BH = brain homogenate; mito = MACS purified mitochondria. Molecular mass markers are shown on the right. The arrow indicates full length unglycosylated PrPC while the asterisk indicates N-terminally truncated, unglycosylated PrPC. Each panel represents an individual blot. Blots were cropped for presentation purposes and to remove irrelevant or empty lanes.
