Five repeats, namely, Ss166 (A), Ss51 (B), Ss262 (C), Ss68 (D), and Ss1 (E), were mapped to the metaphase chromosomes. Centromere-specific FISH signals were detected from these five repeat probes. Bar = 10 μm.
