(A) SH-SY5Y cells were transfected with plasmid pXJ40-myc (Veh) or pXJ40-myc-RBM3 (RBM3) for 2 d, and Western blotting was performed to confirm the overexpression of RBM3. β-actin served as a loading control. (B–E) 2 d post plasmid transfection, cells were insulted with 1 mM SNP for 16 h. (B) Cell viability was assessed by MTT assay, and (C) cleaved PARP were detected by Western blotting. (D) Histogram analysis for the relative levels of cleaved PARP in panel C. Results were normalized by β-actin.
