From: Platelet activating factor-induced expression of p21 is correlated with histone acetylation
Acetylation of the promoter region of p21 in HMC-1 cells was analyzed using ChIP followed by qPCR. The fold expression of acetylated histone-H3 associated with the p21 gene promoter was analyzed in cells treated with 10 μM cPAF and harvested 24 hours later. Total-H3 was used as positive control and data were normalized against input DNA. Data represent the mean ± SEM (N = 3). *p < 0.05 vs. control (Mann-Whitney U-test).
