The inset shows the binding energy of Ci forming a dumbbell at different lattice sites near a dislocation core in [001] Σ85 STGB. Negative binding energy (colored blue) means that the site is energy favorable for Ci. Large spheres represent Si atoms, and small spheres represent C atoms.
