(A) Fluorescent and bright-field micrographs showing a “THU” pattern were obtained by selectively transfected HeLa cells with EGFP and ERFP plasmids. The insert is the design of the “THU” pattern. (B) Typical fluorescent micrographs of the transfected cells in microwells. The transfection efficiencies of the EGFP and the ERFP plasmids were determined to be 71.6 ± 11.4% and 62.9 ± 2.7%, respectively (n = 8). All data are shown as the mean ± standard deviation.
