Fibulin-6 siRNA and scr-siRNA transfected cells with and without TGF-β treatment for 24 h are processed for WB analysis. (a) pERK compared to total ERK, which represents a constitutive increase upon KD of fibulin-6 in comparison to control cells (n = 4, p < 0.05, nonparametric Mann-Whitney U test) and (b) pAKT compared to total AKT (n = 4, p < 0.05, nonparametric Mann-Whitney U test), which doesn’t show any significant increase upon TGF-β induction in KD cells compared to control.
