Total extracted protein was separated on reduced SDS PAGE, and analyzed by Western blot as described in Methods. The four lanes of Panel A and the first four lanes of Panel B represent identical samples in identical order. Panel A was probed with anti-β-actin and anti-SNAP-25 Mabs. Panel B was probed with anti- BoNT/C1 ad LC (4C.10.2) and anti-β-actin Mabs. Reduced BoNT/C1 samples corresponding to the amounts of BoNT/C1 ad LC shown on the top right of Panel B were used for quantification purposes. Molecular weight markers are shown on the right.
