MAP is increased in high salt (HS) intake rats. Bilateral PVN microinjections of PKCγ for 14 days attenuated high salt-induced presser response on the 8th day. Values are expressed as means ± SE. *P < 0.05 vs NS groups (NS + PKCγ siRNA or NS + scrambled siRNA); P < 0.05 HS + PKCγ siRNA vs HS + scrambled siRNA.
