(a) Using PF-573228 at the dose of 5 μM significantly decreased p-FAK expression level by nearly 80%, as well as vimentin expression by 47% and α-SMA expression by 60% compare to the untreated failing CFs. (b) Immunofluroescence show that after treatment with PF-573228, p-FAK(green), α-SMA(red) and vimentin(red) were reduced, which was indicated by lower fluorescence intensity.
