FITR spectrum (a) and XRD pattern (b) of CTAB and CTAB* molecules treated at Treact = 190 °C. A new resonance mode appears at 1718 cm−1 in FITR of CTAB*, which is assigned to the generated –C=O during hydrothermal process. In XRD pattern, the side peaks are significantly suppressed and no new peaks are generated after hydrothermal reaction.
