Box plots show diversity and richness profiles at each sampling point T0–T3. A significant decline in Chao1 richness (Fig. 2) was noted between test and control tanks at T2 (P = 0.0136). Shannon diversity increased at T3 (P < 7.86e-06). *Denotes significance level.
