From: Center Frequency Stabilization in Planar Dual-Mode Resonators during Mode-Splitting Control
A verification of the solution suggested by Perturbation Theory (PT) in equation (32) using FEM numerical analysis. As expected, the perturbational method is accurate to within the limit of small disturbance. By comparing the center frequency fm with the reference f0 (unperturbed), the deviation of the perturbational solution is seen to be within 1% in the domain 0 ≤ L<a/3, and within 4% in the domain a/3 ≤ L ≤ a/2.
