(a) PCA discovered the presence of a well-defined dichotomy indicating a subpopulation inside the female cohort (black crosses). (b) PCA separates the females using contraceptive medication from the contraceptive-free females: females – contraceptive (F-CC, red crosses), females – no contraceptive (F-noCC, magenta crosses) and males (black triangles). In addition the separation between the two groups (FCC vs everything else) was significant. (c) Significant separation was proven along PC2 between the F-noCC and M.
