Emerging pearl millet seedligns raised from 7042S seeds treated with T. hamatum UOM 13 were challenge-inoculated with the zoospore suspension of S. graminicola by adding 4–5 drops (0.5 ml) to the leaf whorl of each plant at intervals of 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 days between the seedling emergence and pathogen inoculation in different sets of plants. Bars indicat the standard error as indicated by Tukey’s HSD (P = 0.05).
