Both devices operated at approximately 140 °C, used a 200 Torr partial pressure of Xe gas at natural isotopic abundance (26.4% 129Xe), a N2 partial pressure of 400 Torr, and 8 mW of optical pumping power. In the first-generation device, optical pumping was applied for 10 s prior to measurement. For the second-generation device, the optical pumping duration was 30 s. The blue curve is reproduced from our previous work22.
