(a,b) NMDA (3 mM) aggravated the decrease in insulin secretion and mRNA expression of insulin in RINm5f β-cells exposed to high glucose (33.3 mM) for 48 h (n = 5, *p < 0.05 vs control, **p < 0.01 vs control, #p < 0.05 vs HG, p < 0.05 vs NMDA). (c–d) GluN1 sgRNA partially restored the insulin secretion from RINm5f cells exposed to 33.3 mM glucose (n = 5, *p < 0.05 vs control sgRNA, #p < 0.05 vs control sgNRA + HG).
