MK801 decreased the mRNA expression of TNF-α (a) and IL-1β (b) in MIN6 cells treated with glucose (33.3 mM) for 72 h, detected by real-time PCR. MK801 decreased the content of TNF-α (c) and IL-1β (d) protein content in the supernatant of MIN6 cells treated with glucose (33.3 mM) for 72 h, detected by ELISA. (n = 6, *p < 0.05 vs control, **p < 0.01 vs control, #p < 0.05 vs HG). (e–f) MK801 inhibited the degradation of I-κB and the NLRP3 expression in β-cells exposed to high glucose (33.3 mM) for 72 h.
