(a) An NF-κB-luciferase reporter adenovirus was co-transduced with adenoviruses expressing LacZ (control) or IκBα super-repressor (SR) and cultured for 2 days. Then, cells were treated with poly(I:C) (10 μg/mL) for 4 h. Cells were lysed and assayed for luciferase activity. (b) After the overexpression of LacZ (control) or IκBα super-repressor (SR), cells were treated with poly(I:C) (10 μg/mL) for 24 h. Cell viability was measured by MTT assay. (c,d) Supernatants were also analyzed for IL-1β and tumor necrosis factor-α by ELISA. Data are presented as means ± SEM. Data were analyzed by one-way ANOVA (n = 3, **p < 0.01).
