To estimate net-N₂O-N on an annual basis the smoothed factor Study length was set at 365 days. Top and bottom of the boxes are the first and third quartiles, and the band inside the box is the second quartile (median). Sample size (n) differences are reported by scaling the box plot width in proportion to √n. Lines extending vertically from the boxes show the extreme of the lower quartiles.
