Effects of intraperitoneal administration of ghrelin (GRL) on blood glucose levels (a) and on the expression of glut2 (b), sglt1 (c) and sglt2 (d) mRNAs in goldfish intestine. Fish were injected with saline alone or containing goldfish ghrelin (100 ng/g bw), and samples were collected at 30, 60 and 120 min post-injection. Gene expression levels were quantified by RT-qPCR.
