The oxygen consumption rate (OCR) of SC was first measured under basal conditions and then after application of inhibitors of mitochondrial function (Oligomycin, FCCP, Antimycin A1) at time points indicated (←). Characteristic original curves (a), values of basal OCR, maximal FCCP-induced respiration, ATP-linked respiration, proton leak, and non-mitochondrial respiration (b) and the proportion of ATP-linked respiration, proton leak, and non-mitochondrial respiration on basal OCR (c) are given for P40/50 and P50/70 cells after 8 days (left) and 14 days (right) of culture, respectively.
