From: Hybrid Core-Shell (HyCoS) Nanoparticles produced by Complex Coacervation for Multimodal Applications
Coacervation performed at 0,1% wt/v HA, 1% wt/v Chitosan, 30% TPP wt/v, Gd-DTPA:Chitosan 1:1. (A) and (B) NPs collected in EtOH while (C) NPs collected in water. Results clearly show that if Gd_DTPA is added to the solutions, stability of the CoA NPs in water is compromised and the spherical core-shell morphologies are not preserved.
