All GmSNAPs in soybean contain 4 TPR motifs (TPR1, TPR2, TPR3, and TPR4). The unrooted tree was generated using the four TPR motifs sequences from the 5 soybean SNAP proteins, the SNAP orthologs from monocots and eudicots, and from phylogenetically distant species such algae, moss, and lycophyte. The phylogenetic tree was generated using MEGA4 software package and the ClustalW algorithm, and calculated using the neighbor-joining method. The tree bootstrap values are indicated at the nodes (n = 1000).
