  1. Upregulated and downregulated transcripts were defined as transcripts whose expression was increased or decreased by more than 1.2-fold (p < 0.05). The [Na+]i/[K+]i ratio was calculated from data presented in Fig. 1 and taken in the absence of ouabain as 1.00. *p < 0.001 compared to the [Na+]i/[K+]i ratio after 6-h incubation in the absence of ouabain. ND – differentially expressed transcripts were not detected.
