Figure 1: MT-6 induces apoptosis in human ovarian cancer cells.
From: The apoptotic mechanisms of MT-6, a mitotic arrest inducer, in human ovarian cancer cells

(A) GI50 values for MT and its derivatives in various cancer cell lines. Cells were treated with different concentrations of the indicated drugs for 48 h, and cell-growth inhibition was assessed by SRB assays. (B–D) Concentration-dependent effects of MT-6 on the viability of ovarian cancer cells. Cells were treated with MT-6 at the indicated concentrations for 24 or 48 h, and the viability of SKOV3 (B), OVCAR3 (C) and A2789 (D) cells was analyzed by MTT assay. (E) Viability of normal uroepithelium cells (SV-HUC-1) following treatment with MT-6. Cells were incubated with or without the indicated concentrations of MT-6 for 24 or 48 h, and cell growth was evaluated by MTT assay. Data are presented as means ± S.E.M. of three independent experiments (*P < 0.05, **P < 0.01 and ***P < 0.001 compared with non-treated cells).
