(A,B) MT-6 increases DR5 expression levels in SKOV3 cells in a concentration- (A) and time- (B) dependent manner. SKOV3 cells were treated with the indicated concentrations of MT-6 for the indicated times, then whole-cell lysates were analyzed by Western blotting. (C,D) MT-6 induces DR5 expression on the cell surface, as measured by detection of a FITC-labeled DR5 antibody by flow cytometry. SKOV3 cells were treated with different concentrations of MT-6 for 24 h, and DR5 expression on cell surface was detected by flow cytometry as described in Materials and Methods. Similar results were obtained in at least three independent experiments. (* P < 0.05 and ** P < 0.01 compared with non-treated cells).
