The double extruded JDBM-2 alloy with excellent biocompatibility, suitable mechanical properties (yield strength: 276 ± 6 MPa, elongation: 34.3 ± 3.4%) and service life-time (up to 6-month) represents a major breakthrough to conventional stent materials and a significant advance towards the goal of successful clinical translation of full-degradable Mg-based cardiovascular stent.
