The red and green arrows point to the single-nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) in the vicinity of the intron 3 variable number tandem repeat (VNTR). The blue arrow indicates a spike in FST that coincides with the intron 3 VNTR. Note an abrupt change in population heterozygosity coinciding with the VNTR region (circled).
