Pure psychiatric presentation of cerebrotendinous xanthomatosis (CTX) occurs most often in childhood (childhood:12 years; adolescence: 13 yearsage18 years; early adulthood: 19 yearsage26 years; late adulthood: age>26 years (patients, n=34).
