Hybridization-encoded DNA tags with paper-based readout for anti-forgery raw material tracking

Tracking raw materials is critical for securing global supply chains, but traditional tags lack in traceability and anticounterfeiting. The authors present a DNATag-based system for secure traceability, featuring error tolerance, mobile phone readability, and robust forgery protection.

Intrinsically disordered domain of transcription factor TCF-1 is required for T cell developmental fidelity

TCF-1 promotes chromatin interactions across topologically associating domains in T cell progenitors

Vahedi and colleagues show that TCF-1 promotes T cell development by minimizing the spatial distance between regulatory elements that are located within insulated neighborhoods in progenitor cells and are required for the expression of T cell genes.

Stripenn detects architectural stripes from chromatin conformation data using computer vision

Chromosome conformation capture techniques have recently revealed features beyond chromatin loops such as architectural stripes. Here the authors present their stripe detection tool ‘Stripenn’ to detect and quantitate stripes from any type of chromatin conformation capture data. They show that architectural stripes are enriched at transcriptionally active and accessible genomic regions.
