Current temporal studies of DNA replication are either complex or low-resolution. Here, the authors introduce Nanotiming, a simple and inexpensive method producing high-resolution, telomere-to-telomere replication timing profiles through BrdU-mediated capture of dTTP pool expansion in S phase.
