Whether the spin, charge and orbital degrees of freedom could drive an iron-based superconductor to the nematic state remains elusive. Here, Baek et al. report the doping-temperature phase diagram of Na1−xLi
x
FeAs and show a subtle relationship between nematicity and spin fluctuations with respect to doping.
