C-SuFEx linkage of sulfonimidoyl fluorides and organotrifluoroborates

Sulfur fluoride exchange (SuFEx), a new type of linkage reaction, has great potential for application in functional molecule linkage to prepare pharmaceuticals, biomolecules, and polymers. Herein, the authors report the synthesis of a range of sulfoximines through SuFEx reaction between sulfonimidoyl fluorides and aryl/alkyl organotrifluoroborates.

Magnetotransport evidence for the coexistence of two-dimensional superconductivity and ferromagnetism at (111)-oriented a-CaZrO₃/KTaO₃ interfaces

The authors report magnetotransport evidence for the coexistence of a two-dimensional (2D) superconducting state and a 2D ferromagnetic state at the interface between amorphous CaZrO₃ film and KTaO₃ single crystal. Moreover, the magnetoresistance hysteresis reaches a maximum near the superconducting transition temperature.

Splitting water using suspensions of particulate carbon nitride-based photocatalysts may be a cheap way to produce hydrogen, but efficiencies have remained low. Now, Shen and colleagues use doped carbon nitride-based Z-scheme heterostructures to split water with a solar-to-hydrogen efficiency of 1.1% in the presence of metal-based co-catalysts.

Identification of recurrent USP48 and BRAF mutations in Cushing’s disease

In this study the authors report USP48 and BRAF are frequently mutated in USP8 wild-type corticotroph adenomas, and cause Cushing’s disease mainly through promoting the promoter activity of POMC. Inhibition of BRAF may be a promising therapeutic strategy for the treatment of patients with BRAF-mutated corticotroph adenomas.

Here, the authors provide the structure of mature Coxsackie Virus A10 alone and in complex with its receptor KREMEN1, and of A-particles. Synthesis of soluble and autophotosensitive hyperbranched polyimides with good optical properties and thermal properties

A series of soluble and autophotosensitive hyperbranched polyimides were successfully prepared. The hyperbranched polymer (HBPI) films showed excellent solubility, low dielectric constant and a minimum birefringence value as low as 0.0026 at 650 nm. In addition, HBPI-1 and 3, exhibited excellent optical properties and good photolithographic properties, may be considered as promising processable high-temperature materials for applications in microelectronic and optical devices.
