Cardiovascular traits often co-occur with Alzheimer’s disease. Here, the authors mapped shared genetic architecture, identifying 16 loci linked to both conditions. They highlight PLEC and C1Q as key genes, providing potential new therapeutic targets for treating the co-occurrence of these diseases.
