In this work, Milano et al. show that neuromorphic nanowire networks are stochastic dynamical systems where dynamics can be holistically described as an Ornstein-Uhlenbeck process, enabling the investigation of the role of deterministic trajectories and stochastic effects on their computational capabilities in the framework of physical reservoir computing.
