Treating bacterial biofilms on plants poses challenges due to increase resistance and antimicrobial loss from leaves. Here, the authors report on a biocompatible host-guest supramolecular material capable of inhibiting/eradicating biofilms and improving foliar affinity on superhydrophobic leaves.
