Efficient creation of ultracold polar molecules is crucial for applications in quantum simulation, computation, and precision measurement. Here, the authors demonstrate the improvement of STIRAP efficiency for the ground state transfer of ⁶Li⁴⁰K molecules to over 90% by suppressing the fast laser amplitude/phase noise and operating at a single-photon detuning comparable to the intermediate state scattering rate.
