Cell-traversal protein for ookinetes and sporozoites (CelTOS) is a malaria vaccine candidate. Here, the authors characterize mouse monoclonal antibodies recognizing different CelTOS epitopes, and demonstrate protection from transgenic parasites containing P. falciparum or P. vivax as well as multistage activity.
