While methods to create chiral carbon centers and stereochemically defined silicon centers have been developed, the ability to generate both simultaneously would be of high value. Here the authors present a copper-catalyzed, substratecontrolled regio- and enantioselective intermolecular hydrosilylation capable of accommodating a broad scope of alkenes and prochiral silanes.
