Signaling lipids play crucial roles in mammalian physiology, yet some classes remain poorly understood. Here, the authors synthesize a bifunctional monoacylglycerol (MAG) probe and, using chemical proteomics, identify novel protein ligands for MAG lipids, proposing MAG’s putative involvement in calcium sensing.
