Sugimoto et al. investigate the potential of continuous glucose monitoring (CGM)-derived indices to assess glucose handling capacity. They show that AC_Var, a CGM-derived index, significantly correlates with the clamp-derived disposition index and outperforms conventional diabetes markers in predicting glucose handling capacity.
