Pramod Pisharady et al. develop a tract-specific analysis with segmentation of the spinal cord white matter to quantify longitudinal changes in cross-sectional area and fractional anisotropy in patients with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis and control participants. With this highly sensitive analytical tool they identify different tracts and spinal levels affected in ALS, including sensory pathways.
