How contextual uncertainty interacts with other types of uncertainty, such as associative or outcome uncertainty is not fully understood. This study introduces CogLinks-neural models showing how corticostriatal and thalamocortical circuits specialize in processing different forms of uncertainty and interact to support hierarchical decision-making under uncertainty.
