Determinants of response and molecular dynamics in HER2+ER+ breast cancers from the NA-PHER2 trial receiving HER2-targeted and endocrine therapies

NA-PHER2 was a neoadjuvant trial of HER2-targeted trastuzumab and pertuzumab plus the CDK4/6 inhibitor palbociclib with or without endocrine therapy in HER2-positive, ER-positive breast cancer. Here the authors report biomarkers predictive of pathological response and treatment-induced molecular changes in patients from the trial.

LEADeR role of miR-205 host gene as long noncoding RNA in prostate basal cell differentiation

miR-205 is known to have context-dependent tumor suppressive or oncogenic roles. Here, the authors report the host gene of miR-205, MIR205HG as a nuclear lincRNA that maintains the basal identity of prostate cell and prevents luminal cell differentiation via the repression of interferon responsive genes.
