Bimetallic zinc and gold porphyrin self-assembled into 2D nanosheets as nanoscale optoelectrodes. This design achieves exceptional photoelectric performance under visible one-photon and near-infrared two-photon excitation, enabling far-field optical modulation of single neurons.
